If you are among those wondering what happened to the bipolarworld.net site, we hope this helps shed light and answer some questions.
Many of you have experienced some site instability over the course of the last month. Some technical issues had arisen and rather than a constructive approach taken by the Chat Manager for the site's IRC chat feature, a number of accusations were made. Continued interaction with this representative of BPW became unproductive and unhealthy. Further communication was then terminated by the site administrator as a matter of enforcing healthy boundaries. Allie Bloom was repeatedly made aware of these problems and failed to take corrective action. These and other related circumstances have resulted in the following:
The previous arrangement between Allie and the group that agreed provide technical assistance and incur infrastructure costs for BPW has terminated. We were providing hosting and other web services for bipolarworld.net free of charge, as a charitable enterprise. Until such time as Allie or her qualified representative contact bipolarworld.online management to make arrangements for transfer of bipolarworld.net site content, that content will either be unavailable, or available on a limited basis. The domain bipolarworld.net is being redirected to HERE, a new site, which offers its members a supportive community of adults living with bipolar disorder. Many in this community are not strangers to you all.
